On July 18th, I was fortunate to speak to the Powdersville Business Council, a branch of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce. Nothing new here, concerns about debt bombs, government regulation, and the dwindling of free market liberty. Insurance regulations were the main concern of most employers in attendance. The group also agreed that our roads and bridges are in desperate need of repair, however, raising taxes and borrowing are not the best approach when there’s sufficient funds on hand.
Many thanks to Ms. Cindy Hopkins for the invitation.
