With your donation, we can stop President Obama’s dangerous policies and restore fiscal sanity in Washington.
For the entire 2007 fiscal year, the federal deficit was $160 billion. Today, under President Obama’s “leadership” we borrow that much nearly every month. In fact, Washington borrows nearly half of all the money it spends.
That’s not just unsustainable. It’s delusional.
Even worse, as economists, budget experts, and credit rating agencies warned that Washington must spend less, President Obama ignored them. He defied their advice and called for higher taxes, more spending, and a bigger government. He also threatened to veto the only plan that would actually cut spending, cap spending, and balance our budget: the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act.
That failure of leadership and defiance of good advice is inexcusable under any circumstances. It’s particularly galling coming from a president who only four years earlier chided Washington for “shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.”
Unfortunately, we have now seen what delusional spending levels and the defiance of common sense has gotten us: a downgrade in our credit rating. And no matter where President Obama tries to lay blame, his big-spending record is what it is.
That’s why we are working so hard to put an end to his policies of delusion, defiance, and downgrade in the next election. But to change things in the election next year, we need to raise money now. So, please help out by making a donation of as little as $50 or as much as $2,500.
Thank you again for all that you are doing to help us change the way Washington does business. With your help, we can fix things. To read more click here.
