Ann thinks I’m an ubergeek for blogging from panera about the things we’re doing in Alpharetta on my birthday trip but she’s happy to have her Dr. pepper, chai tea latte and book.

Sage Ann offered a trip to Alpharetta for my 45th birthday. 1 st stop was Sage. We shared an average filet mignonne over mashed potatoes. also had crab meat stuffed mushrooms very good. the best was bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp with a rosemary twig as the skewer. We have a rosemary bush in the backyard. I’m going to experiment. dimly lit atmosphere with live jazz guitar. good but overpriced.
Sage Alpharetta offers a city chic yet casual atmosphere featuring contemporary American cuisine with global influences. We offer Market Fresh Fish, Seafood, Hand-Cut Steaks, Chops, Gourmet Salads, Chicken, Pastas and Burgers all prepared over our live hickory oak woodfire grill.
Le Moulin de Saint Laurent
Wonderful pasta with seafood in a light cream sauce finished off with a blue berry cheese cake dessert. Our table was on a deck next to a river with a water fall just a few feet away. The B&B restaurant is situated in an old flour mill dating back to 1720. It is on an island (l’Île-d’Orléans) about 20 miles north of Quebec City. This was by far our favorite spot!
