Cheap in America?
Did anyone catch Wednesday night’s 20/20 report “Cheap in America”? It was by John Stossel on charitable giving. I learned some interesting observations:
1-Conservatives give more than Liberals
2-Religious people give 4 times more than non-Religious (even to non religious charities)
3-The US Government ranks lower than many other governments in aid, yet our citizens’ personal giving is much higher than citizens from other countries.Links to the stories:

The liberals in Washington believe that they have to steal from the “rich” (i.e. the middleclass) to give to the poor (i.e. the slothful) through higher taxes. This story only proves that Reaganomics is true: a rising tide lifts all boats. The less Big Government takes from us, the more we are able (and willing) to give back to those in real need.

Mr. Bryant:
It is a very simple, yes or no question.

Upstate voice,
Get Sen. Bryant’s disclosure forms and roll around naked in them if you must. If you have issues with Mr. Rich, post to his blog.
Contributions are a right of free expression. If the donation is legal,so be it! Your obvious devotion to Jim Rex is your business.

I have to say, I don’t understand why all these guys have such a difficult time saying, “Yes, I take money from Howard Rich.”
The problem is, Rich hides behind fake companys, all from the same address, like 123 XYZ Inc and 123 XYZ company, and then all these on-the-take politicians play dumb, and say, “No, I’ve never taken money from Howard Rich.”
I have to say, If there’s this much unwillingness on both sides to admit who’s giving and receiving money, it makes me wonder.
As a wise man once said, if it looks like a skunk, and walks like a skunk, and smells like a skunk, you can call it a cat, but it’s still a skunk.

Did John Stossel talk about Howard Rich, Katon Dawson & auto parts stores? Why doesn’t John Stossel do a special show on Howie Rich & his crony anonymous bloggers taking over America?

Kevin, until upstate voice has the ‘nads to post his record of blood donations to the Red Cross, I wouldn’t justify he/she or it with an answer and would invite you to moderate it’s whining. It is off topic and as, if not more juvenile as anything that SCRG produced.
