If “yes” to Sanford means “yes” to less government and more personal independence, then I pronounce Senator Bryant guilty as charged. Those who want more “no” to Sanford simply need to convince voters that govenrment is the solution to their problems. But, you’re going to have to work pretty hard, they’ve already been fooled by you once.

If you’re going for strict Latin grammar referenda. Referendum’s is gramatically correct as a posessive, though referendums passes muster within the modern dumbed down American English.

If you took Chem 530 from Bob Cargill, in his day at USC, you didn’t get away without the Latin grammar lesson, as indiscriminate usage of spectra and spectrum were a pet peeve of the esteemed “organiker”.
